I think that at times it is hard for us to endure through the hard times because we become discouraged. We have friends that call themselves knowing Jesus and they treat those who are going through, like Job's friends and his own wife. There are those who may not have walked in this journey a very long time and are getting to know the true and living God. Then they will not be able to be like Job. Then the seasoned believers who know God, His Son and the Holy Spirit should use their Ministry of Encouragement. Because of hard times, many will not be able to endure the In spite of affliction, in spite of loss, in spite of what friends and family to hold on to our faith in the true and living God. But if we as believers of the true and Living God deposit in those that are going through as some of the saints of yester years did by saying, "baby you can make, because the Word says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me." or " hold on to

God unchanging hand, because He is the same today, yesterday and forevermore." And with that there may be something that we can physically do to help them endure. Example Family may need food, light bill paid etc. because head of household been laid off. We as people of God can meet that physical need by paying the light bill, buying groceries etc. We can also network to help that person gain employment.

When you look at Jesus' ministry, when He ministered, He met their physical needs as well as deposited the teaching of the Word that would help them spiritually.

It would be easier to endure hard times if we surround ourselves with people that have the ministry of encouragement.

We live in a fast paced disposable society where it's all about "me-myself-and-I." The mere suggestion of enduring for any reason makes some people wonder what was in your latte. Look around you. Look at the products. Most are rather poorly made. They look good, but quality is not present. They are not made to last, only to serve for the short run. That's from clothes to cars. A car hit you today, you can get up and go play basketball. A car from back in the day hit you - you laid there and had to be carried away. To the hospital.
There seems to have been a departure from basics about twenty years ago. I remember the days of 100% this and 100% that. Then polly and her cousin esther came on the scene with a splash. Clothes began to be blends. Nothing 100%. It's something about things that are pure that appeals to me. I haven't seen a 100% cotton anything in a long time. Even choices of colors are blends. What have you seen recently that was of a primary color? Crayola box is exploding with "mutants." You have fifty greens and none of them looks green. Blends.
This shift to the quick, fast and in a hurry is reflected in the mindset of the people. It saddens me to say I see it creeping (or crept) into COGIC. If we are mirroring it, then what are our children learning?
We feel like we don't have to "endure." That we can handle it. Selective reading of the Word reinforces that kind of thinking. In the blab-it-grab-it-name-it-claim-it-tame-it world.....extend your view. To the Cross. Don't get so caught up with the cares of this world that you aren't prepared to get "caught up" when Jesus comes.

It is sometimes hard to endure when hard times come in our lives
because of our faith and our patience in God. Our human nature
make us want things in a hurry and don’t want to wait to get it.
It’s not easy because it become frustrating, sometimes painful and
we sometimes have to shed many tears. But God says in His word
that we can do all things through Him Because In Him is where our
strength lies.We have to wait and continue in prayer. We can’t give
up. After we have run this race with patience then God is Glorified
because He is The Author and Finisher of our faith.
